I have been a dog women from the start. From begging my parents for a doberman pinscher at
6 years of age and getting a cocker spaniel instead, to teaching obedience classes in my front
yard at age 10. I have always had a dog by my side.
I have owned dogs of all sizes and shapes and have been smitten with the American Bulldog.
Along with my husband, we now run Nobilis Kennels where we love and enjoy American
Bulldogs, Shorty Bulls and soon South African Boerboels. I have always loved the bulldog and
moloss breeds, and sharing our home with these wonderful breeds has definately kept things
interesting, but wonderful.
I started Schutzhund only because I was told by some fellow bulldoggers that I would never be
able to do it and although I just have fun with the sport and only train and compete for myself,
it was enough to push me to join a schutzhund club and it has been full speed ahead since then.
Schutzhund is not the only sport we enjoy, we also enjoy all kinds of dog sports including, APA
and UPF Weight Pull, Irondog, Obedience Trials, etc,etc. Not to mention we love to take our
dogs hunting for wild boar on occasion. We are a lot like our dogs and enjoy a little bit of
everything and as long as the dogs and people involved are having fun, then we like to be
involved!!
